Anton Benson Productions Ltd (ABP) is a theatrical production company based in Manchester, focused on providing a high standard of live entertainment including pantomimes, drama, musical theatre, cabaret and comedy.

Anton is a creative independent producer. He worked at Bill Kenwright Ltd for three and a half years before moving back to the North West to set up his own theatre production company.

Anton produced his first professional pantomime in Northwich in 2011. Nine record breaking seasons later and his annual production has gone from strength to strength, moving into the town's newly built theatre Northwich Memorial Court from December 2015 onwards. Anton is now also responsible for annual Christmas pantomime seasons in Clacton-On-Sea, Rochdale, Oldham, Ellesmere Port and Whitchurch. Additionally he is established on the Easter panto touring circuit. Anton writes or co-writes the scripts for all his pantomimes.

Anton also presents plays and was delighted to produce an Edinburgh Fringe season and National Tour of Steve Wood's new writing "You're Never Too Old". He achieved a career goal in 2016, when he produced a national tour of Amanda Whittington's poignant play "Be My Baby" headlined by Brooke Vincent and Ruth Madoc.

Anton regularly works with Dave Benson Phillips and produces a live version of Dave's gunge tank game show based on the hit Children's TV program "Get Your Own Back!"  for theatre audiences and the Edinburgh Fringe. 

 

Away from work Anton is passionate about music and can often be found at a Brian Wilson concert. He enjoys attending theatre as a customer. He is a proud Evertonian and a devout fan of Coronation Street.
